Fortress of the Muslim 103: The traveller before dawn
دعاء المسافر إذا أسحر
The dua of this chapter
Samma‘a sami‘un bihamdillah
((سَمَّعَ سَامِعٌ بِحَمْدِ اللَّهِ، وَحُسْنِ بَلاَئِهِ عَلَيْنَا، رَبَّنَا صاحِبْنَا، وَأَفْضِلْ عَلَيْنَا، عَائِذاً بِاللَّهِ مِنَ النَّارِ)).
Samma‘a sami‘un bihamdillahi wa husni bala’ihi ‘alayna. Rabbana sahibna wa afdil ‘alayna, ‘a’idhan billahi minan-nar.
Let anyone who hears bear witness to our praise of Allah and His fine favours to us. Our Lord, be our companion and grant us Your bounty; I seek refuge with Allah from the Fire.
Said by the traveller in the last part of the night, before dawn.
